Meet Your Sitter Before You Schedule

We believe that you and your pet should feel as comfortable as possible with your sitter before our scheduled service takes place. That’s why we offer a free in-home consultation before your first service begins. This gives everyone a chance to get to know each other and make sure that this is a good fit.

You’ll Get The Same Trusted Sitter Every Time

When you schedule a service with us, we’ll partner you with a primary and back-up pet sitter based on your needs and schedule. You’ll have the chance to meet these nearby sitters and once you approve of them, we’ll assign them to your account. Any time you schedule services thereafter, you’ll receive care from your primary or back-up sitter. This way you know your pet is getting care from someone you (and they) know, trust, and like every time.

Meet The Owner

Leigh

Howdy y’all!  I am the owner of Fetch! Pet Care of East Austin.  I have lived in the Austin area my whole life, from Wimberley to Georgetown to Austin.  Pets have been a part of my entire life!  I grew up in a house full of animals at all times including cats, dogs, pigs, goats, chickens, horses, cows, fish, gerbils and even hermit crabs!  Since 2010, I have been fostering animals through Austin Animal Center and Pug Rescue of Austin.  I have fostered over 16 dogs and a dozen kittens and made sure they all went to good homes.

I take my dogs wherever I go around Austin such as on a hike or on a restaurant patio to enjoy this dog friendly city.  I am an active person who enjoys music, gardening, biking and hiking.  I have a Psychology degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown.  Previously, I directed a facility for people with disabilities for 14 years, making sure the residents were living the healthiest, happiest life possible.  Now, I want to make sure your pets are living their best life!  I will give you peace of mind that they are receiving the best possible care.

I am a Certified Pet Expert and an active member of the Austin Pet Sitters Organization (APSO).

Hi, I’m Julie! I am an adventurer. I love variety and travel. I am creative and find inspiration in new spaces. I am compassionate and have a natural ability to nurture the things that mean the most to others. House and pet sitting allow me to find all of these unique facets in one place. I work in the public sector and am also a training and facilitation consultant focused on values-driven leadership development and community engagement. Since the pandemic has made my work mostly virtual, I can work most days from your home to keep your pets company. I look forward to getting to know you and bringing a nurturing energy into your home!

I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two dogs and a cat. I currently go to school in New Orleans for criminal justice but love being back in Austin for the breaks! I also am a dance instructor for all ages. Surprisingly, pet sitting and working with toddlers have some similarities! I pet sit for my family and friends and wanted to extend my love for animals with Fetch! I love all animals as they have such unique personalities. I look forward to meeting your fur babies!

Hi, I’m Angeles. I am super excited to be a part of the Fetch Team. I am from the Rio Grande Valley born and raised and moved to Austin to continue my education in Business. On my time off I love to spend time with my dog Bentley & going on long walks & hikes. I know of some great areas with lots of lands to cover for your pup. I absolutely love animals and the bond of love, respect, and safety. I have many years of experience caring for pets as I have had all types of animals in my life. I cannot wait to spoil your pets! Hi, my name is Amanda and I absolutely adore pets/animals of all kinds! I have my kitty and 2 bunnies.  All of my friends and family know if there’s an animal in distress whether it be a hurt bird on the sidewalk or a kitten they found or a mouse stuck in a glue trap that I’m the one to call to go help and rescue. I look forward to meeting all of your fur babies, know they will be in great hands!

Hi, I’m Allison! I have always been an avid animal lover and am excited to care for your beloved pets. Growing up, I affectionately nicknamed our home “The Zoo” because we always had a house full of animals, from cats, hamsters, and parrots, to turtles, frogs, and fish. I continued the tradition and currently keep my own Zoo, running a charmingly chaotic house full of two energetic dogs and four quirky cats. Plus, I often host friends’ dogs when their owners are out of town! My favorite pastime is curling up with a good book and a steaming mug of coffee, surrounded by sweet and snuggly furry companions. I am a writer, and one of my favorite aspects of working for Fetch! is crafting journal entries for you, sharing photos of your adorable pets and chronicling our fun time together. I look forward to meeting your beloved animal companions (and you!) and making new friends!

I am enthusiastic about caring for animals of all shapes and sizes! I am dedicated to making sure every pet is safe and happy while their owners are away, and am certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. I am organized, and always come prepared with my handy Fetch! waist pack. When I am not preoccupied with the animals, you may find me knitting or reading. My favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, K. A. Applegate, and Raina Telgemeier.

Hi, I’m Evelyn and I’m a college student and am extremely grateful to be able to care for your animals through Fetch! I currently have two dogs of my own, and a colorful pet history, so I feel confident in my ability to adapt my pet husbandry/care to fit your animal’s specific needs. I’ve always absolutely adored all things nature- of course, animals included- and can’t wait to meet and look after your pets as well!

Hi! I’m a student at UT Austin and have lived in Austin for most of my life. As an elementary schooler, I started off caring for small pets, from baby chicks to hamsters to fish (and even roly polies!). Every type of animal was my favorite, and I loved the different level of connection that can happen between a human and a pet. Then, the day came when I met my Maltese, Sugar, and since then we’ve just been a power duo! Whoever your pet may be, small to large, I can’t wait to bond with them and care for them as well!

Hi, my name is Gay. I grew up in east Texas but have lived in the Austin area for almost 40 years. Growing up, we always had dogs, cats and horses. Over time I’ve had a variety of pets including parrots, llamas, ferrets, goats and a sulcata tortoise. I’m currently a K9 handler on a local Search and Rescue team. Although the training is intense and time consuming, working so closely with my Border Collie is hugely rewarding. Thanks so much for trusting me to take care of your pets while you’re away!

Hi, my name is Teri. I’m a native Texan and have lived in the Austin area for 40 years. My life has always been filled with dogs, cats, horses and many other companion animals. I currently live on 5 acres and have expanded the group to include parrots, chickens and a tortoise! For the past few years I’ve been focused on training with my Border Collie to become a search and rescue team. This is so rewarding and the intensive training has created such a close bond between us. As a Fetch pet care giver, my goal is to take care of each pet as attentively as I do my own and ensure that they’re happy and healthy when you return!

Katelyn is the name and animals are the game! I am definitely an advocate for anything that walks on 4 legs. I am a fire wife and mother of a two year old girl and teaching her to love and respect all animals is a goal. We currently have three doggos and a cat. I love being outdoors so walking doggos is great for me! Cats are an equal favorite. They are so fun and sassy! But my love doesn’t stop there. I love them all! I left a career to spend more time with my family and Fetch is the perfect job for me to still stay active and keeping clients animals safe and loved. 💜💜

My career has spanned art, design, and creative education while traveling frequently before Covid, but I always come back to my love of animals.
